Walter Zigabarra, a life-long resident of Yonkers passed away Thursday at St. John’s Riverside Hospital with his Family at His side, he was 89.

An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Walter worked as an Electrician and was a member of IBEW Local 3.

Walter is survived by his Wife Lorraine (nee Swiechocki), Daughter Nancy (Ernie) Morabito, and Sons Roger (AnnMarie), Richard (Debbie) and Robert (Tami). Walter was also a loving Grandfather to Kaitlyn and Jonah.

Friends may visit the Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 7pm. A Funeral Service will be held Monday 11am at the Funeral Home with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Yonkers.  In lieu of Flowers, donations made be made in Walter’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
